Last weekend, I spent my morning loitering around the book stalls at Fort, spotting beautiful book covers and drooling over vintage hardbacks. While that felt like heaven, the Mumbai Heat gave me a glimpse of what it’s like to be burning in hell. 😛 Thirsty and Hungry, We dropped into Chikita Cafe in Colaba for a quick bite. The ambiance and service of the space are average, but the food is delicious. The place has a duplex seating, the interior is functional and simple. This cafe is definitely known specifically for its food.
What did we order?
Pepper Chicken and Cheese Sandwich.
A special on the menu, The sandwich is spicy and cheesy, stuffed with chicken, bell peppers, and mayo. I loved the dip that comes along with it.
Crispy French Fries and Iced Frappuccino Combo
While the French Fries were typical, I loved the Iced Frappuccino.
Parsi Chicken Salli Wrap
It’s Another special on the menu, the wrap is the right amount of crispy and spicy.
We had to order our food from the counter, and it took forever for them to get our order. So I am guessing, if you were super hungry like me you got to keep a little patience once you’re done the ordering, and I suggest you do that while using their free WIFI service 😛
